Jewelry Cabinet

The story behind this project was that Lauren was looking online for a jewelry cabinet that was more like a piece of furniture than just a box. Long story short, she wasn’t able to find one - surprise! But she knew what she wanted so she drew a sketch. Then she handed me the sketch and said, “this is what I want” and I said “cool”.
What makes this jewelry cabinet special is that it’s made out of some oak from our old bed from when we first got married - and some extra oak flooring from widening the pass-through from our kitchen to the living room.
A great thing is that it holds a LOT of jewelry and it all gets hidden away behind a framed canvas print.
Also - my capris make another appearance.
